The deserving winners were excited to be rewarded with special certificates and tasty treats, including pizza and chocolates.
The Cleanest Classroom programme is run at many of the over 500 primary and intermediate schools that are cleaned by CrestClean franchisees, with the classrooms that are kept the cleanest in the school awarded a certificate and a prize at the end of the term.
South Canterbury Regional Master Franchisee Rob Glenie says presenting the awards each term is a highlight for franchisees.
“The awards are a positive source of motivation and result in some healthy competition between classes,” says Rob.
“It’s great to see the students rolling up their sleeves and taking pride in maintaining a clean and tidy classroom. We hope this will instil lasting habits that extend beyond the classroom, even influencing their behaviour at home!”
