Our healthcare cleaning teams are backed by over 25 years’ experience in the industry. Here’s an insight into our capabilities…

CrestClean has developed HealthClean, a comprehensive set of systems and processes which enable us to clean effectively in healthcare environments.


Our cleaning teams are trained and inducted in the science of infection control. They use single station equipment, and ‘HyperClean’ hydrogen peroxide cleaner, which is rated as an effective cleaning agent and ‘hospital grade’ sanitiser.


Our cleaning processes use colour-coded microfibre cloths and mops to minimise the threat of cross-contamination. Our cleaning teams follow strict hygiene procedures including wearing PPE at all times.


Our teams will be fully donned in supplied gowns, and they follow the procedures as set by the customer to clean operating theatres. We first remove dust with microfibre wands and cloths, and then clean and sanitise with HyperClean® and single-station microfibre cloths.


Quality audits are conducted by our Quality Assurance Co‑ordinators. Reporting formats and the frequency can be set by our customers to meet their own reporting requirements and external auditing.


Our personnel are trained to look beyond the obvious surface areas and give attention to what’s often overlooked, such as finger marks, high dusting and ceiling fans.


SafeClean®, our Health, Safety and Environmental Management System, will work with your site-specific requirements to ensure the safety of your staff, your patients and our cleaning teams.


Our Regional Master Franchisees provide a single point of contact for customer communications. Our cleaning teams will also liaise with the facility staff. A customer Communications Book is kept on site to facilitate day-to-day communications. All team members are trained to respond promptly to customer requests and instructions.


Call times must be adhered to for security reasons and CrestClean cleaning teams will have at least two people for safety and efficiency.


All CrestClean franchisee owners and their employees are Security Vetted, undergo Ministry of Justice Criminal Background Checks and are trained in relevant security protocols.


All team members wear clean uniforms with ID badges, and use distinctive branded vehicles. Equipment is kept clean and tidy and is regularly audited by our Quality Assurance Co‑ordinators.


Regular weekly buffing without fail is part of the cleaning regime, as well as strip and polishing as needed.

Sanitising Service for high-touch surfaces

Forte Health Water Leak Story

The quick thinking of CrestClean franchisee, Nalin Dissanayake, saved the day at Christchurch’s Forté Health when he encountered a flooding situation from a water leak one Saturday night.
