Why choose CrestClean?
About Jan Lichtwark,
Tauranga Regional Manager
Jan was born and bred in the Tauranga region and became Regional Master Franchisee in 2010. In the sixteen years since, he’s doubled the number of franchisees in the region and expanded the services on offer to include carpet cleaning, consumables, and property maintenance. Jan also provided the proving ground for CrestClean’s popular new Pure Water Window Cleaning System.
“Tauranga has a lot to offer people from young to old which has meant that it’s one of the fastest growing cities in NZ,” says Jan.

Previously with Goodman Fielder, Jan loves the focus on customer service and customer satisfaction that comes with being Regional Master Franchisee. He has expanded the number of corporate customers served by CrestClean and, as a lifelong resident, understands the region’s growth.
He’s deeply involved in Tauranga community activities, from sporting events to fundraisers, and he and his wife are now raising three young children.

CrestClean Services FAQs
Our professionally trained cleaning teams follow standardised cleaning systems, strict hygiene protocols and an agreed Schedule of Duties to deliver consistent, hygienic outcomes at every service. Supported by the latest equipment, regular quality audits and oversight from your local Regional Manager, this comprehensive approach is what we call The CrestClean Standard.
Wherever possible, your premises will be looked after by the same owner-operated cleaning team. This provides greater consistency, helps the team become familiar with your site and gives them a personal interest in maintaining high standards.
Let us know, and we’ll work to resolve the issue promptly. Your local Regional Manager is responsible for overseeing the quality and reliability of your service and will ensure any concerns are followed up.
Yes. We assess your premises and discuss how each area is used before recommending a cleaning plan. You’ll receive a clear Schedule of Duties outlining what will be cleaned, how often it will be completed and the agreed service times.
All CrestClean personnel are security vetted, wear uniforms and carry photo identification. Site access requirements, alarm procedures, keys and restricted areas are discussed and documented before the service begins.
CrestClean’s pricing reflects internationally recognised cleaning productivity rates, which calculate the time required to clean the specified areas in accordance with the Schedule of Duties. The contract price includes all labour, supervision, equipment and chemicals. Anny additional or specialist services – such as carpet cleaning, hard floor care or window cleaning are priced separately and will be discussed and agreed with your Regional Manager before commencement.
Yes. We assess your premises and you will receive a detailed site-specific Schedule of Duties that sets out exactly which areas are to be cleaned, what tasks are to be completed, and how frequently. If your needs change over time, due to changes in occupancy, operational hours, or site usage – your Regional Manager can adjust the Schedule of Duties accordingly.
