North Harbour franchisees come together to celebrate success
North Harbour franchisees turn out for recent team meeting.
North Harbour franchisees gathered on a Saturday morning recently to catch up with one another, hear the latest company news and celebrate the success of their fellow franchisees.
The meeting was also a chance to get hands-on with some new equipment. Nilfisk Area Manager Jayne Rowell demonstrated the Nilfisk Dryft Instant Scrubber, giving franchisees the opportunity to see how it works and have a go themselves.
CrestClean’s General Manager of Training, Safety and Wellbeing, Liezl Foxcroft, also joined the group.
But the highlight of the morning was recognising three teams who have worked hard to grow their businesses and build strong relationships with their customers.
Eloynard and Jeanisel Capati took home the Outstanding Franchisee of the Year award, while Vaisua and Joyce Lusia, and Baukie Eneta and Teriribwe Taukoriri, were named Franchisees of the Year.
Eloynard and Jeanisel Capati – Outstanding Franchisees of the Year
Eloynard and Jeanisel Capati receive North Harbour’s Outstanding Franchisees of the Year award.
When Eloynard and Jeanisel Capati started their CrestClean franchise, they were juggling their cleaning work with other jobs. Three years on, their business has grown to almost five times its original size, and they are both working in it full time.
It took plenty of hard work to get there. The couple continued working day jobs while building their franchise, with their three sons also helping support the business.
Jeanisel is proud of how far they have come and says being part of CrestClean has been a great experience.
“CrestClean is the best cleaning company in New Zealand,” she says.
North Harbour Regional Managers Neil and Rachel Kumar have watched the couple’s progress and believe there is plenty more to come.
“Eloynard and Jeanisel are very lovely people. I can see there’s more potential in them to be successful in the future.”
Vaisua and Joyce Lusia – Franchisees of the Year
Vaisua and Joyce Lusia receive North Harbour’s Franchisees of the Year award.
Vaisua and Joyce Lusia started their CrestClean business in 2021 and have since tripled its size, building a solid customer base along the way.
Joyce and Vaisua recently bought their first home.
For Joyce, one of the biggest changes has been having more time with her family.
Before joining CrestClean, she worked two part-time jobs, one on a farm and another at a supermarket. Her days often started early and finished late, meaning she sometimes arrived home after her daughter had already gone to sleep.
Now, both she and Vaisua work full time in their cleaning business. They have more flexibility around family life, including being able to take their daughter to school and spend more time together.
The couple have also recently bought their first home, another big step forward for the family.
“We are so very happy,” says Joyce.
Rachel Kumar says the couple’s positive attitude is evident in the way they look after their customers.
“They’re such an amazing couple, always having that positive approach towards the customers.”
Baukie Eneta and Teriribwe Taukoriri – Franchisees of the Year
Baukie Eneta and Teriribwe Taukoriri receive North Harbour’s Franchisees of the Year award.
Baukie Eneta and Teriribwe Taukoriri have also made significant progress since starting their CrestClean franchise in 2022.
In the early days, Baukie fitted cleaning around his job in a greenhouse, where he worked long shifts and weekends growing capsicums and tomatoes. As the cleaning business grew, he was eventually able to leave that job and concentrate on the franchise.
Having more control over his time has been one of the biggest benefits.
“I have free time now. Sometimes I go out fishing in the morning and come back to clean in the afternoon,” he says.
The couple have more plans for the future. They want to keep growing their business, pay off their mortgage and renovate their home.
Neil and Rachel Kumar say they are proud of what Baukie and Teriribwe have achieved, particularly the care they put into their work and their customers.
“This team always surprises us with their excellent customer service,” says Rachel. “Just love this team.”
The awards recognise just how far all three teams have come since starting their businesses. Being able to celebrate those achievements alongside their fellow franchisees made the occasion even more special.
