PestCo Service Technician Ready for Action
PestCo Service Technician Mike Wills provides customers with pest control services and Integrated Pest Management programmes.
Removing unwanted guests from your premises forms a key part of Mike Wills’ role.
The PestCo Service Technician, who has had 15 years experience in the pest control industry, is enjoying his new role.
“I have always enjoyed working in the pest control industry,” he says. “It is challenging but it is rewarding. Every day is different.”
PestCo, which is a division of CrestClean, provides customers with pest control services and Integrated Pest Management programmes.
“We take an immediate approach to pest control,” he says. “We also give customers advice so they can help make sure a pests habitat is disrupted. For example; making sure there is no long grass close to buildings because that’s where rodents may hide. We also advise customers to make sure rubbish and debris like cardboard boxes are removed. We end up using less chemicals and bait which in turn is better for the environment.”
Mike says all steps are taken to ensure pests are eliminated which is part of Integrated Pest Management.
“To catch a pest you have to think like a pest. I am always thinking about where I would hide if I was a mouse,” Mike says jokingly.
