Sri goes from strength to strength in 15 years as franchisee
For the past 15 years, franchise owner Sri Gunasingam has been a key part of the Auckland Central team. With a wealth of experience and a passion for great service, he’s built a business known for high standards and strong relationships with customers.
Today, he leads Auckland’s largest team of 16 and couldn’t be prouder of the professionalism they bring to every job.
Sri’s path to CrestClean began a year before he joined, when he started searching for a business that offered low investment and guaranteed profit. At the time, he was managing a gas station in Auckland, having already gained similar experience in London. Before that, he taught advanced-level accounting in Sri Lanka.
“In these roles, I gained extensive experience in customer service, time management, people management, and record-keeping,” he says.
Armed with that experience, Sri turned his attention to commercial cleaning, and CrestClean immediately stood out. He soon met with Auckland Regional Manager Dries Mangnus and was up and running with his new franchise just a few months later.
“I decided on a commercial cleaning business, and CrestClean was my first choice,” he says.

Since then, Sri has become known for his genuine commitment to quality. He’s put great systems in place to keep standards high, investing in specialised equipment, carrying out regular site inspections, and encouraging customers to share feedback so he and his team can keep improving.
