Waimauku School Deputy Principal thanks Sunita and Praveen for 10 years of outstanding service

For the past 10 years, Sunita and Praveen Dutt have proudly run their CrestClean franchise — and one of their very first customers, Waimauku Primary School, remains one of their most valued.
Since day one, Deputy Principal Anita Newland has been their main point of contact, growing a lasting relationship with the cleaning team. Over the years, Anita has greatly appreciated Sunita and Praveen’s dedication to keeping the school looking its best.
“They’re just so accommodating,” says Anita. “There have never been any issues. They’re trustworthy, reliable and friendly – everything you want in a team.”
Waimauku School is a large and busy primary school, with more than 700 students, 30 classrooms and two halls – one large and one small – that are used for afterschool care each day. Sunita and Praveen manage the daily cleaning of the extensive site, often going above and beyond to support the school’s needs.
Anita says their flexibility is a huge asset. If the school needs to use a room or a hall after school, Sunita and Praveen are happy to wait until it’s free before they start cleaning. Their helpful nature was especially appreciated during a recent Kapa Haka festival, which took over much of the school. The cleaning team offered to do an extra clean after the event to make sure everything was fresh and ready for the students when they returned to school.
For Sunita and Praveen, pitching in like this is simply their way of giving back to their customers and their community.
After a decade of working together, communication between Anita and Sunita is effortless.
“We’ve got a really good relationship,” says Anita. “They’ve certainly become friends.”
Thanks to the combined efforts of the school’s amazing caretaker, gardener, and cleaning team, Waimauku Primary always looks beautifully maintained. Sunita and Praveen play a big part in that. The site is so well cared for that visitors often comment on how tidy and welcoming it feels.
Always taking the time to smile and say hello, Sunita and Praveen are much loved among the Waimauku School staff. Their willingness to help with anything, whether it’s removing a stubborn carpet stain or tackling an unexpected task, makes them truly appreciated by everyone on site.
North Harbour Regional Manager Neil Kumar says Sunita and Praveen’s dedication and reliability have made them valued members of the CrestClean team.
“It’s a milestone to reach 10 years in the cleaning industry. Well done to Sunita and Praveen. Keep up the good work!”
