CrestClean Strengthens School Partnerships at WAPA and NSPA Conferences
CrestClean’s Auckland West Master Franchisee, Caro Wedding, and North Harbour Master Franchisee, Neil Kumar, recently attended conferences for the Waitākere Area Principals’ Association (WAPA) and North Shore Principals’ Association (NSPA).
As proud sponsors of WAPA and NSPA for many years, Caro and Neil used this opportunity to connect with leadership teams from Waitākere and North Harbour schools.
“It was a great place to refresh existing relationships and introduce ourselves to senior leaders from other schools,” says Caro.
“It’s a very positive, warm and relaxing networking day.”
Caro and Neil were joined by West Auckland Operations Co-ordinator, Chris Wedding. The team managed a CrestClean stand at both events, inviting attendees to stop by and learn about CrestClean’s services. This year, the main topics of conversation were CrestClean’s community recycling initiative, RecycleKiwi, and health and safety management for services such as window cleaning at height.
It was a timely reminder that schools must ensure their cleaning providers adhere to strict health and safety regulations.
“Schools need suppliers like us who understand the industry and its challenges,” says Caro.
The team also gave away free CrestClean goodies and held a lucky draw at the end of each day, ensuring everyone left with something.
Each year, the Learning Network invites a different keynote speaker to the events. This year, Pete Hall – an ex-teacher turned motivational speaker – delivered a message of resilience and finding purpose in your work.
“The speaker was excellent,” says Caro. “I could’ve listened to him all day.”
While Caro attended the speaker’s session, Neil and Chris managed the booth. Neil highlighted the importance of maintaining strong relationships with school leadership teams and demonstrating CrestClean’s continued support.
“The ultimate aim is to show support to our existing customers,” says Neil.
“After years of sponsoring these events, we have built strong relationships with many schools.”
By attending WAPA and NSPA events, CrestClean reinforces its commitment to supporting the schools in the Waitākere area and North Shore.
Caro, Chris and Neil are all looking forward to attending the events again next year.
