Top marks from school principal
Nothing is ever too much trouble for Sunny Singh at Auckland’s Anchorage Park Primary School, says delighted principal Belinda Johnston.
Belinda has been singing the praises of the hardworking CrestClean business owner. “Sunny is always positive and caring, his presentation is smart and his team are polite. They are just good people,” she says.
Linda Hill, CrestClean’s Auckland East Regional Manager, says she’s had great feedback from the two schools Sunny looks after.
“Belinda says dealing with Sunny is just fabulous. He always asks ‘is everything all right’ and reminds Belinda to let her know if there are any issues so that they can be remedied – but there are never any issues.”
Doing his very best for customers is something that Sunny takes enormous pride in. Recently he went above and beyond at Anchorage Park to move furniture so carpet cleaners could have a clear run.
“Sunny was asked last minute if he could help and he volunteered to move all of the furniture at the weekend – free of charge,” says Linda.
“When he had moved the furniture in the first classroom he got Belinda to come and have a look to check it had been done correctly before getting on with the other 10 classrooms.
“He reassured Belinda all the time that it was no problem and completed all the work, over a six hour period, with a smile on his face.”
Sunny, who by day works as a chemical engineer for a large pharmaceutical company, has been with CrestClean for just four months. It was a chance conversation at his workplace with the cleaners that planted the idea of buying a cleaning franchise.
He got chatting to CrestClean’s Rajju and Manorama Prasad, who look after the cleaning at Argenta, where he works.
“They told me all about CrestClean and it was quite impressive,” says Sunny. “It made me keen to know more about what they do. They explained about how they work and about the training.”
Eventually Sunny wants to make CrestClean his full time business and has plans to invest in new equipment to broaden the services he can offer and to make his cleaning more time efficient.
“I am thrilled to bits to have Sunny in the Auckland East team,” says Linda. “I’m looking forward to helping him grow his successful business and become financially independent.”
