Purchase of high-tech floor machine sees owner ramp up his business
CrestClean franchisee Sandeep Kumar has plenty of firepower at his fingertips as he gears-up to further expand his business.
He’s just purchased a state-of-the-art floor battery-powered scrubbing machine in readiness to begin a major new cleaning contract next month.
Robert Glenie, CrestClean’s South Canterbury Regional Manager, says when Sandeep and his wife Richa begin at Methven Primary School it will be their biggest project so far.
Planning for the move began early to ensure the CrestClean team was fully prepared, had the best gear and could hit the ground running from day one, says Robert.
“I sat down with Sandeep and Richa and we worked out what would be the best approach for cleaning such a large school and what equipment would be required.”
Purchasing a floor scrubber seemed a logical move, so experts at Proquip New Zealand were called in. Dave McLeod, the company’s national account manager, quickly found a machine that would best do the job, says Robert.
“Dave suggested a make and model that would work well in a school the size of Methven Primary School and then got it ordered straightaway.”
The TGB4055 Battery Floor Scrubber has many advantages, says Dave. “This is a performance machine that offers reliability, simplicity and great performance.
“It gives consistent cleaning, providing the same high standard of cleaning, every time. It’s also versatile and can be used for most non-carpeted floor finishes.
“Brushes and pads can be selected to suit the floor, either for day-to-day or deep cleaning,” he says.
