Homeownership is family’s dream
As Titus Samuel proudly holds his Certificate of Long Service he has a picture in his mind’s eye of where it will eventually go.
For the time being it will sit on a shelf in his Christchurch home – but one day it will feature prominently in a family home he hopes to buy after expanding the size of his CrestClean business.
“When I buy a home I will hang it on the wall. I am proud of working for CrestClean,” he says.
Titus and his wife Priyanka Raju, who works as a nurse, have been business owners with CrestClean for the past three years.
He loves the ability to set his own working hours, one of the spin offs that comes from working for himself.
“I like the flexibility that I get with this job. I can look after my family and my kids are really important to me. I can drop them at school morning and pick them up in the afternoon.”
Titus says being a CrestClean franchisee means he can fit in work around his busy role as a pastor at a church in Christchurch. He gets plenty of time to serve his local community, he says.
Yasa Panagoda, CrestClean’s Christchurch North Regional Manager, says the couple’s work ethic and determination to succeed is outstanding.
“Titus and Priyank are a wonderful people who I love to deal with. Their never-say-no attitude and their customer relationship is second to none.
“All their customers thinks that they are getting spoiled by Titus and Priyanka.”
