CrestClean’s green credentials hailed
CrestClean has been hailed the “perfect” fit for an environmentally-conscious school looking to save energy.
Timaru’s Bluestone School recently replaced all the old lights and replaced them with the latest LED energy savers. And in another green move, it also installed solar panels.
School Principal Ian Poulter was open to innovation that would make savings, and he quickly warmed to CrestClean’s Cleanest Classroom Award, which encourages kids to be responsible for leaving things clean and tidy.
Robert Glenie, CrestClean’s South Canterbury Regional Manager, said the company was delighted to help the school be more energy efficient.
“When Crest suggested the Cleanest Classroom Award the principal jumped at the idea and said it would be a perfect fit for the school, as less vacuuming meant less power consumptions and fewer chemicals is good for the environment.
“Our Crest Franchisees are aware when they are on site to keep lights off as much as possible and we understand that any ideas we can come up with to help with rubbish reduction or power savings would be appreciated.”
CrestClean is delighted to work in with the school to help reduce its green footprint.
Our workforce is equipped with the latest green cleaning innovations to minimise the environmental impact of our services.
And our green technology enables us to use non-toxic chemicals, protecting the health of your staff, your customers and our cleaning personnel.
Bluestone School children are lucky enough to have two clean class award winners each term, and this term the winners are Senior School R14 and Junior school R8.
