CrestClean teams help make Christmas brighter for Children in foster care

Foster Hope is a nationwide charity that collects new, unwrapped Christmas gifts for children in care across New Zealand, helping vulnerable children feel supported during the festive season.
Sadly, Christmas is a particularly busy time for child protection services, with many children entering emergency care due to abuse, neglect, or crisis situations. Foster Hope’s goal is to bring a little bit of sunshine and hope to children who need it most.
This year, CrestClean staff who wished to support the cause was invited to donate a gift. The Dunedin and Auckland CrestClean teams embraced the initiative, coming together to generate an impressive haul of gifts for Foster Hope. In Auckland, Foster Hope Craft Co-ordinator Kaye Halton personally visited the office to collect the donations and was overwhelmed by the generosity shown by the team.
“A huge thank you for the generous gifts you purchased for children in foster care. I’m so thrilled with the thought and care which you have put into the selection of gifts, and I know the children who receive these gifts will truly feel that there are individuals out there that care for them and are thinking of them at this time of year.
“Thank you for choosing Foster Hope to donate through – we truly appreciate your generosity and support.”
Thanks to the collective efforts of those involved, many children in care will receive a special gift this Christmas.
