CrestClean sponsorship boosts Wyndham Town FC Senior Mens team
When CrestClean franchisee Richard Chand steps onto the field, he’s not only leading his teammates, he’s also proudly representing CrestClean. A franchise owner since 2012, Richard is captain of the Senior Mens team for Wyndham Town Football Club.
This season marked a first for the club, with the team running out in smart new uniforms proudly sponsored by CrestClean. The fresh kit gave the players a sharp new look and a professional edge to go with all the effort they put in on the pitch.
“We are very grateful as the other teams had good uniforms compared to us, so the sponsorship was really helpful,” says Richard.
It’s been an exciting season for the team. For Richard, a real highlight was competing in the newly structured division, split into three tiers – top, second, and third. Their tier was stacked with strong teams, making every match a challenge. Across six tough games, the players gave it their all and celebrated some well-earned wins. The team finished third on the table, narrowly missing out on second place by a single goal.
“They were all tough games, but we had some good wins and finishing third out six is quite a good achievement,” says Richard.
Richard has played football all his life and has spent the past two seasons with Wyndham Town FC. This year, he was nominated for four awards at the prizegiving, and he’s hoping to build on that success next season. The team is aiming for the championship, and they plan to kick off pre-season a little earlier to get in some extra training. With a few new players joining the squad, Richard is confident the team will grow even stronger as they continue to gel on and off the pitch.
With CrestClean already on board as their sponsor for the 2026 season, Richard and his team are gearing up to take their game to the next level.
