Some of CrestClean’s Auckland team had an early (and very inspiring) start to their day recently, attending the 10th annual Indicator Women in Sales Breakfast.

Representing CrestClean were Megan Miles, Liezl Foxcroft, Nileshna Narayan, Rachel Fan-Wedding, and Tessa McKnight – who all had a fantastic time connecting with other women in business, enjoying a delicious breakfast, and hearing from some incredible speakers.

With a full house and every seat taken, it’s clear the event is growing in popularity. In fact, Indicator has already said they’ll need a bigger space next time. While this was the 10th year the Women in Sales Breakfast has been held, it was CrestClean’s first time attending. But as Liezl says, it definitely won’t be the last.

“Everybody loved it and wants to go again. Hopefully we can bring more CrestClean women from around the regions to attend next year.”

The atmosphere was buzzing thanks to the amazing MC Abbie Takle from Indicator and a powerhouse lineup of speakers, including:

  • Melissa Chan-Green, former TV3 and AM Show host
  • Andrea Blair, geothermal consultant and the first woman to lead the International Geothermal Association
  • Sarah Kennedy, CEO of Calocurb and former CEO of Healtheries, Vitaco Health Group, and MD of Fonterra Nutrition

“The speakers were inspirational – next level! They really made you believe that you can do anything – you can change the world,” says Liezl.

“What stood out was the authenticity of the speakers. Everyone had succeeded whilst being their true self.”

The breakfast series was launched ten years ago after Indicator recognised a lack of opportunities for women in sales to connect, support one another, and share ideas in a space that truly celebrates success and potential. And that message was clear throughout the morning.

“Where you are now is not where you need to end up. Everybody has potential. If you want to, you can further yourself,” says Liezl.

After such an inspiring morning, the CrestClean women left feeling motivated and empowered – and they’re already looking forward to next year.
