CrestClean Connects with Medical Professionals at GPCME 2024
CrestClean Master Franchisees Tim O’Leary from Hawkes Bay and Jan Lichtwark from Tauranga recently attended the General Practice Conference and Medical Exhibition (GPCME), held at the Energy Events Centre in Rotorua. This marked CrestClean’s third year participating in the GPCME.
The event provided GPs, Practice Nurses, and Practice Managers with insights into medical innovations and gave them the opportunity to hear from specialists in various medical fields. It also gave Jan and Tim the chance to connect with healthcare professionals and showcase CrestClean’s commitment to quality in healthcare environments.
“It was great to meet people from the industry and get them thinking about who’s cleaning their facility, what chemicals they’re using and whether they’ve received adequate training in cross-contamination prevention,” says Jan.
Jan and Tim engaged with attendees throughout the conference and showcased CrestClean’s leading healthcare cleaning protocols. They also offered free giveaways like CrestClean’s Anti-Viral Sanitiser, microfibre cloths, and Rockit Apples – a light-hearted nod to the saying “An apple a day keeps the doctor away.”
Tim highlighted the conference’s expansion to both North and South Island locations, reflecting the increased demand for knowledge within the medical industry. Preventing cross-contamination was a key theme this year.
Jan and Tim say the event proved valuable for building connections and raising awareness about the importance of proper cleaning practices in medical facilities.
“Networking at these conferences is definitely worthwhile,” says Jan.
“We also reconnected with people that we’ve met in previous years, helping us strengthen relationships with a wide range of medical professionals.”
Jan and Tim will be back at the GPCME next year to demonstrate CrestClean’s support for the healthcare industry in providing safe and hygienic spaces for patients.
