Belated Christmas celebrations bring South Canterbury team together
The South Canterbury team’s Christmas celebrations may have arrived fashionably late, but they finally managed to get together recently for a BBQ and games at Geraldine Domain near Ashburton.
Despite the delay, the team embraced the opportunity to come together.
Although the region always plans their Christmas function for December, they’ve had to postpone three years in a row due to covid or rain dampening their fun. This time, the weather cooperated, but being a Christmas gathering in Autumn, it was a bit chilly compared to a typical Kiwi Christmas function.
South Canterbury Master Franchisee, Rob Glenie, was happy to see the region come together for a fun day out.
“Huge thanks to Tej for cooking the BBQ and his wife, Sam, for helping to prepare and set up. The kids played on the playground and played cricket and football while the rest of us had lots of laughs and plenty of great food,” says Rob.
“Great time had by all.”
