Hawke’s Bay CrestClean teams acknowledged for their efforts
Hawke’s Bay franchisees recently enjoyed a ‘get-together’ to acknowledge their efforts following Cyclone Gabrielle.
“We’ve had a really rough time as a region, so I wanted to hold a feel-good event where everyone could get together and enjoy each other’s company,” says Tim O’Leary, CrestClean’s Hawke’s Bay Regional Master Franchisee.
“While the floods and the consequences that followed were traumatic, the good thing that came out of it was that everyone just rolled up their sleeves and helped each other, and I wanted to recognise that.
“Everyone was affected in some way. Whether it was having no electricity or no water, or helping out other teams because the bridges were closed, people had to dig in. They were like, ‘yes we can help’, which was heartening to see.”
Around 50 franchisees, and their employees and families, attended the lunch, which was held at Rosie O’Grady’s in Napier.
“I chose Rosie O’Grady’s because they are a customer and I wanted to look after the people who look after us,” says Tim.
“There were lots of kids running around, which was really nice.”
Success was also celebrated, with franchisee Arihant Negi receiving a certificate for completing his Module 2 training with the Master Cleaners Training Institute.
“It was a great afternoon, and everyone enjoyed being able to take some time out and connect,” says Tim.
