Eid Sa’id from CrestClean
Today is Eid al-Fitr, marking the end of the fasting for the holy month of Ramadan for Muslims.
This holiday celebrates the conclusion of dawn-to-sunset fasting during the entire month of Ramadan, and is also a time to reflect on the Muslim goal of unity and to forgive and forget any differences or animosities that may have occurred during the year.
Fasting for the month of Ramadan honours Islamic values, such as empathy for the poor, charity, worship, steadfastness, and patience.
