Sanitising your School against Swine Flu Influenza A (H1N1)
During a pandemic you will need to clean more thoroughly to minimise the spread of the virus. This applies particularly to the surfaces that people touch, i.e. door knobs, door push plates, kitchen areas, taps, microwave ovens, refrigerators, toilet buttons, soap dispensers, hand dryers etc.
Schools can be a breeding ground for viruses and bacterial infections. Cold and Influenza germs can live for a long time (up to 48 hours) on surfaces like doorknobs and things people touch with their hands.
Influenza viruses (including Swine Flu) are rendered inactive by the correct application of an effective Anti-Viral Sanitiser. Crest recommends sanitising surfaces that people frequently touch with Anti-Viral Sanitiser regularly, preferably daily.
Crest’s Anti-Viral Sanitiser is a wide spectrum bactericide, fungicide and virucide; effective against: Influenza A (Swine flu H1N1), HIV-1 (AIDS), Hepatitis B & C, MRSA, Listeria, Salmonella, E-coli*.
The Anti-Viral Sanitiser will have a residual effect, i.e. traces of sanitiser left on the surface will keep on killing any new virus spores that may land on the surface.
