Sanitising service gives customers peace of mind to protect workers
FedEx personnel at a busy warehouse in East Auckland can be assured their surroundings are in safe hands when it comes to hygiene.
CrestClean business owner Ankush Bhandari has been tasked with focusing on the numerous high-touch areas that workers come in contact with during their shifts at the busy depot.
Using CrestClean’s Anti-Viral Sanitiser, Ankush ensures nothing is missed with an application of the highly-effective product, which is the first disinfectant to be released in New Zealand with an official rating against coronavirus.
The sanitiser uses a licensed formula which has been included on a list of disinfectants registered by the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) for use against COVID-19.
Ankush, who has been carrying out the sanitising service twice daily, says he’s proud to be keeping his customer’s employees safe at this time. “It feels good providing this important health and safety task. The customer is very happy with how it’s going.”
Linda Hill, CrestClean’s Auckland East Regional Manager, says more customers are now requesting the sanitisation service amid concerns about the possible spread of COVID-19.
With a greater emphasis on health and hygiene in the workplace, there is now a big focus on high-touch points, such as door knobs, door push plates, kitchen areas, taps, microwave ovens, fridge doors, toilet buttons, soap dispensers, and hand dryers.
“People expect to have a healthy and hygienic environment for their workers,” says Linda.
“We can give our customers the assurance that our cleaning personnel have the right chemicals for the job and they have the most up-to-date knowledge to carry this important procedure.”
